Eastmont health center to offer free flu vaccine on Jan. 6
Eastmont Health Center is offering a free flu vaccination on Jan 6 at its Westmont facility.
The free flu shot will be given out at 7:30 a.m. at the facility, and it will not cost any additional fees.
The Westmont center will also have an on-site vaccination center, which is staffed 24/7.
The flu shot, available to all members of the Eastmont Community Health System, is the first flu shot at an Eastmont facility since the last one was in August 2018.
In a news release, the health center said:”We are thrilled to offer this vaccine as a great way to get a flu shot.
We want to make sure that all our residents receive a flu vaccine that is as safe as possible, effective and affordable.”
Eastmont Community and Health Center, a nonprofit, is a public health hub in the Westmont area of Los Angeles County.
The health center offers flu shots for people 65 and older, for adults, children and pregnant women.
The center also offers flu screenings, immunizations for children under 6 and adults, and more.
