How to treat stress, anxiety and depression in a holistic way with chelseah wellness center

Chelsea, FL—June 11, 2017—A chelsha wellness center, located at the corner of Old Port Rd and N. St. John Ave.

in Chelsea, has received a $25,000 grant from the Florida Department of Health to further its mission to provide free health care and support to residents of the community.

Chelsea is one of the newest centers in the state, opening its doors on July 1, 2017.

Its mission is to help residents of Chelsa, a predominantly African American community in Miami-Dade County, and its surrounding areas, recover from a variety of stressors.

The center’s primary focus is treating the following mental health issues: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, eating disorder and binge eating disorder.

It also offers cognitive and behavioral therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture and massage and chiropractic.

The wellness center has partnered with the local nonprofit Chelshares.

The chelscare wellness center was established in April 2018 by the Chelscares Foundation, which is led by former Mayor John Molloy, as part of a partnership between the community and the nonprofit, which provides financial support to low-income residents.

Chelscares founder, Jodi Brown, was elected Mayor of Chelscaries in May of 2018.

Brown, who was previously the Executive Director of the Miami-Tampa Bay Regional Planning Agency, served as the first African American elected to the office of Mayor of Miami- Dade County.
