Apple will soon begin selling its health-focused wellness center to the public
New Leaf will be launching its health and wellness center in India, which is expected to be one of the most popular destinations in the country, Apple CEO Tim Cook said at the launch of its wellness center.
The center, which includes a health spa, will have a total of 30,000 square feet of space, according to The Times Of India.
Apple will have an office in the center and a staff of 30 employees.
Apple will be selling its wellness and wellness services at a discounted rate from the current $2,000 to $1,000 a day.
Apple currently has about 1,400 employees in India.
The Apple Health Care program will be open from March 2 to May 1.
Cook said the program would be focused on “finding solutions to health challenges around the world,” which includes tackling diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
The new Apple wellness center is expected for the first phase of operations, which Cook said will begin in July.
Earlier this year, Apple opened an Indian retail store in New Delhi, with plans to open a second store in Mumbai in the coming months.
