The #undwellingcare movement, a way to help animals get better
When a woman named Laura got her heart and liver broken by an overzealous dog, she had no idea how much it affected her family.
But when she heard about animal wellness centers that were providing free care to animals and their caregivers, she decided to start one.
Laura decided to focus on her own pet, because dogs are just like humans.
She found a local dog rescue group and opened a veterinary clinic.
She now has five dogs, four of which are in her care.
In the end, Laura says she’s found a balance between wanting to help her family, and her own health and well-being.
