Eagles sign WR Chris Thompson to a two-year deal

SANTA FE, N.M. — The Eagles announced Monday that they have signed WR Chris Thomas to a one-year contract.

Thomas, who has been with the Eagles since 2012, has been a productive contributor for the Eagles in each of the past two seasons.

He caught 54 passes for 679 yards and two touchdowns in 2016, and he had 17 receptions for 262 yards and a touchdown in 2016 as well.

He also had eight receptions for 101 yards in 2015.

Thomas joins former Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, who will also be an unrestricted free agent after the season.
